In addition to his indigenous cultural heritage expertise, Singleton brings a wealth of experience and specialist skills in mining and petroleum tenure and operational mining; land access; climate change and renewable energy, as well as mining-associated corporate and commercial work.
Singleton’s skill-set and experience advising on some of Queensland’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects will complement the firm’s real estate, construction and environment team.
Tim Bednall, KWM’s Australia chairman, said Singleton’s appointment reflects the firm’s strategic focus on deepening its front-end energy and resources and infrastructure capabilities in native title, procurement, land access and construction.
Singleton has a blend of government and private practice experience, having held senior positions in the Queensland Government prior to joining Minters.
He will officially start at the firm later this year.
