Allion Legal has announced the appointment of Brendan Reilly as principal of the firm’s construction & infrastructure group.

Reilly began his career at Malleson Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons) and has held senior corporate counsel roles at John Holland Group and Hancock Prospecting.

More recently, as a director of his own boutique firm, Reilly has provided strategic non-contentious and contentious construction advice to a number of major global organisations involved in many of WA’s major projects.

“Brendan’s appointment to Allion allows us to progress our strategy to be a leading corporate WA-based law firm providing specialised, pragmatic and solutions-driven legal services to our clients,” said Philip Lucas, Allion’s managing principal.

“Brendan’s experience in construction and infrastructure projects is significant and he has acted for both owners and contractors on large infrastructure projects in Australia, the UK, the Middle East, Africa, India and parts of Asia.”

Reilly started with Allion on 3 December.
