MID-TIER law firm Mills Oakley has boosted its commercial litigation practice in Brisbane with the new partner appointment of former Ebsworth & Ebsworth lawyer Stephen Dickens.

Dickens’ experience includes time spent at McCullough Robertson and Nicol Robinson Halletts, now Herbert Geer Brisbane.

Mills Oakley chief executive John Nerurker said Dickens’ appointment would help the firm "service the increased demand in our litigation and insolvency practices", while adding to the firm’s growing prestige.

Dickens said he relishes the challenge of further increasing the profile of the firm’s commercial litigation practice.

“Their [Mills Oakley’s] quality and expertise in the litigation and insolvency space is well known and I’m looking forward to help shape its development and raise the profile of the department both locally and nationally,” said Dickens.
