“Doug is well-known in Perth’s legal and business circles and brings to Gadens more than 25 years’ experience in the Perth banking and finance and project and property industries,” said Gadens’ Perth managing partner David Albrecht.

Stipanicev’s experience in banking and finance, property development and construction and insolvency law has seen him lead a number of significant and high-profile transactions. His main practice includes: corporate and institutional financing and debt; securitisation, receivables financing and security trust arrangements; financing of development projects, both senior and mezzanine; and financing of international projects.

Stipanicev, who spent 21 years as a partner at Freehills, is also active within the broader community as chair of Future Vision Inc, a community-based organisation providing social engagements for the disabled. He also lectures in law at the University of Western Australia.
