SYDNEY-based Johnson Winter & Slattery has hired a Piper Alderman partner to its Brisbane office.

Craig Wappett advises on finance, with a particular focus on project finance, and regulatory matters.

A partner at Piper Alderman since 2005, Wappett joined that firm from Mallesons Stephen Jaques, where he was also a partner.

The new partners' clients have included Australian oil and gas exploration companies Eastern Star Gas Ltd. and Beach Energy Lid.
