Deanna Oberdan (pictured) joins the firm’s workplace law team as a partner from EMA Workplace Lawyers. Previous to that, Oberdan, who has more than 13 years’ experience in the workplace relations space, was principal of her own workplace relations practice, Oberdan and Associates.

She has particular expertise in the industrial relations area and is recognised as being practical and down to earth in addressing client issues to achieve outcomes that reflect their business needs and priorities.

FCB’s new senior associates, Emma Reilly and Paul O’Halloran, joint the firm from Allens and Rigby Cooke, respectively.

FCB’s managing partner, Campbell Fisher, said that the appointments were recognition that FCB’s law practice was in higher demand than ever after 10 years in the Melbourne market; he added that the firm was excited to attract such high-calibre workplace relations specialists.

FCB also has offices in Sydney and Perth.
