Karp Steedman Ross-Adjie officially ceased trading at its West Perth office on 20 December 2013.

Naming partner Alan Karp has retired, according to the firm’s website, while Eric Ross-Adjie has joined Freemantle-based commercial firm Warren Syminton Ralph as a partner.

Specialising in commercial litigation, Steedman has worked on a wide range of matters, including corporate, building and construction, mining, property, banking and finance and IP disputes.

Outside of work, Steedman is a keen scuba diver and enjoys open water swimming.

In December, Lawyers Weekly reported that Lavan had appointed two new partners to its banking & finance team. Jennifer Handz and Ben Fong started their new roles on 6 January 2014.

Lavan has 20 partners and 180 staff.
