Russell Kennedy has poached six lawyers, including two principals, from Melbourne firm Garland Hawthorn Brahe (GHB).

The government, planning and environment lawyers started at the firm this week (3 February). They form the firm’s new land acquisition and compensation team.

Julie Colsell (pictured) and Suzanne Manson have been appointed principals, supported by GHB colleagues: special counsel David Brahe, senior associate James Dobeli, and lawyers Celine Ramanathan and Adam Layt.
Russell Kennedy announced in December that the firm was planning to launch a second office in Canberra. The first full-time employee of that office will start at the firm on 17 February.
