Melbourne boutique nabs IR team

An industrial relations team at M+K Lawyers in Melbourne has moved to Rigby Cooke Lawyers.

McLaughlin and Comino have worked together for more than a decade; the past four years at M+K and the six years prior to that at Piper Alderman.

The appointments follow the departure in June of Rigby Cooke IR partner Ross Levin to Mills Oakley Lawyers.

Earlier this month, M+K Lawyers poached construction principal Alex McKellar and his team from Victorian boutique Moores Legal.

The firm also recruited a partner from boutique firm Brown Wright Stein last month (16 June) to head up its property practice in Sydney.
