Stephen Hill departed Adelaide firm Fox Tucker in the lead up to the firm’s merger with Donaldson Walsh Lawyers, which took effect on 1 October.
Hill was promoted to partner at Fox Tucker in 2011. He has particular expertise in retail and commercial leasing, property development and major property acquisitions and disposals.
“Stephen's experience, encompassing all areas of property law including rural and agribusiness, hotels and retirement villages, provides an excellent fit with [our] strategic direction,” said Adam Bannister, managing partner of Minter Ellison SA/NT.
Minters’ Adelaide office also poached two partners from the now-defunct boutique firm Kelly & Co ahead of its acquisition by HWL Ebsworth in July. They were: corporate, energy and resources partner Andrew Corletto and intellectual property partner Lisa Jarrett.
