Dentons has further strengthened its team in Brisbane with the addition of a new partner, who joins from national law firm Piper Alderman.

Lyndal Draper joins the firm’s real estate practice in Brisbane, bringing with her over 15 years of experience advising clients on all aspects of property law, including development, sales and acquisitions and leasing.

Ms Draper has prepared, advised on, and worked under various development and joint venture agreements for developers, large institutions, statutory trusts, and private companies. Her development experience includes off-the-plan strata and flat-land developments for residential, mixed-use and commercial applications.

Doug Stipanicev, Dentons’ Australia region chair and Australasia CEO, said: “The growth of our Brisbane office over the course of the last year has been nothing short of extraordinary.

“We are delighted to welcome Lyndal as our new real estate partner at Dentons, bringing on board extensive real estate experience, which will greatly benefit our clients.”

Mr Stipanicev said that Ms Draper was a welcome addition to the team.

This news follows a number of other partner appointments at Dentons, including corporate partner Caroline Snow, recovery and restructuring partner Claire Petersen, banking and finance partner and head of office Craig Chapman, and real estate partner Cara Richardson.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Draper said: “I’m very excited to be joining the real estate practice at Dentons to help drive the firm’s future growth even further.

“I look forward to exploring the many opportunities that come with being part of the world’s largest law firm, such as being able to connect my clients to the global resources and talent within Dentons.”
