HopgoodGanim Lawyers has elevated 27 individuals across its legal, support, and operations teams, with the appointments formally recognised at the firm’s annual gala.

Among the legal promotions, 16 practitioners advanced to more senior roles, including one partner, three special counsel, one senior associate, nine associates, and two solicitors.

These promotions span across seven distinct practice areas, including insurance, banking and finance, corporate, IP, technology and cyber, resources and energy, family law, and litigation.

Jacqi Marshall (pictured) has been promoted to partner within the insurance division of the Australian mid-tier law firm, following more than four years with the firm during which she held roles as senior associate and special counsel.

In a statement, the firm expressed how Marshall has been “instrumental in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients”, making her promotion a significant milestone for both her and the firm.

Speaking on her appointment, Luke Mountford, managing partner at HopgoodGanim Lawyers, stated that Marshall embodies the firm’s values, making her a strong addition to the partnership.

“Jacqi exemplifies everything we value at HopgoodGanim and is committed to supporting her team and clients. Her promotion to partner is a proud moment for all of us,” Mountford stated.

In addition to the legal promotions, the firm promoted five employees to legal support roles and elevated six others to legal operations positions across its Brisbane and Perth offices.

This news follows the appointment of a partner in its workplace and employment practice in late May, the addition of a partner and special counsel from HFW last month, as well as a team of two from BigLaw firm Holding Redlich in March, and the addition of a team of eight from national law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth in February.

The firm’s new special counsels include Chris Cullen (banking and finance), Kimberly Eichorn (banking and finance), and Richard Hanel (corporate); its new senior associate is Lily Robinson (corporate); and new solicitors are Brendan Croft (family law) and Teagan Joffe (family law).

The firm’s new associates are Caitlin Seeto (IP, technology and cyber), Claudia Hill (resources and energy), Ellie Neuendorf (family law), Estelle Sah (litigation), Hannah Pellegrino (litigation), Shannon Ariens (family law), Tom Mirolo-Lynam (litigation), Tom Pozzi (banking and finance), and Zoe Musch (family law).

The firm’s new legal support staff: Belinda Smith (paralegal), Chloe Miers (law clerk), Ciana Cadir (legal secretary), Lulu Crampton (law clerk), and Rebecca Driscoll (legal secretary / paralegal).

The new legal operations professionals are Lillian Reid-Montgomery (senior accounts officer), Emma Wood (senior financial accountant), Jessica Treacy (senior business development manager), Luisa Apelu (office services team leader – Perth), Meagan Wootton (learning and early career development lead), and Nikiesha Vellios (office services team leader – Brisbane).
