Lawyers Weekly is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural M&A Dealmakers 2025 ranking, acknowledging high-performing dealmakers across the legal services market in Australia.

This first-of-its-kind ranking will shine a light on the standout achievements of the country’s leading dealmakers and set a benchmark for excellence not just in M&A, but across the profession.

As a key pillar of business growth, M&A lawyers play an essential role in shaping the broader economic landscape. With fluctuating interest rates, geopolitical conflicts, and cost-of-living pressures defining the market, the strategic guidance of skilled M&A dealmakers is critical in navigating these volatile conditions.

The M&A Dealmakers 2025 ranking has been launched as a timely and pertinent acknowledgement of the legal professionals who consistently deliver exceptional results amid increasing market uncertainty.

All eligible legal professionals are encouraged to submit to the M&A Dealmakers 2025 ranking by Thursday, 30 October, for a chance to be included in the list of top dealmakers nationwide.

The following must be supplied when submitting an entry:

  • Total value of advised deals between July 2024 and June 2025.
  • Total number of deals advised between July 2024 and June 2025.

Each entrant must also upload the deal information and verification template provided, clearly outlining details of each individual deal advised on during the 2024–25 financial year. Submissions will not be accepted without this verification document.

Submissions close strictly at 5:30pm AEDT on Thursday, 30 October.

Once your submission is complete, be sure to click the “SUBMIT ENTRY” button at the end, or your submission will be shown as incomplete and won’t be accepted.
