For more than a quarter of a century, the Australian Law Awards has set the benchmark for excellence across the legal profession Down Under.
Hosted in partnership with principal partner LawUno, this unparalleled awards program unites leaders and rising stars in Australia’s legal profession, celebrating high-performing students, academics, practitioners, teams, and firms across the country.
The Australian Law Awards has developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing, analysing, and benchmarking Australia’s leading legal professionals. The judging criteria have been uniquely designed to be both quantitative and qualitative, and to acknowledge growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to Australia’s legal profession.
This year, a total of 330 finalists have been selected from a record 1,206 submissions for the prestigious awards program, who will battle it out for trophies across the 36 categories, comprising 22 individual and 14 group categories.

The awards will culminate in a black-tie gala ceremony on Thursday, 30 July 2026, at The Star in Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.
The ceremony will also present a rare opportunity for legal professionals to network with fellow sector leaders, while celebrating the achievements of their colleagues and peers.
