Movers & Shakers: Jane Seymour, Gadens Lawyers

Workplace relations specialist Jane Seymour joined Gadens Lawyers' Sydney-based workplace relations team in June this year.

Seymour was previously the director of Justitia Lawyers and Consultants' Sydney office and joined Gadens, as a partner, along with her Justitia team comprising a senior associate and junior lawyer.

"After my time as Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman, I felt that moving into the law was a natural progression. I do miss the prairies though, and I had to chop off my braid"

"It was a great opportunity. It's a great firm. It was the culture, the expertise in [the workplace relations] area. It is a true stand-alone practice which is great," Seymour told Lawyers Weekly.

Seymour has 20 years of experience in workplace law and said the workplace relations team at Gadens is looking to expand further.
