The fifth annual Corporate Counsel Awards is fast approaching. Lawyers Weekly and principal partner LOD are thrilled to bring yet another celebration for Australia’s in-house market.
The Corporate Counsel Awards 2021 is an awards program that bestows accolades upon top-performing in-house legal professionals at a national level, including GCs/CLOs, legal counsel, company secretaries and law departments.
These awards provide an opportunity to recognise the work done by the law department and individual professionals and stand out in a competitive marketplace, highlight individual and institutional experience and gain deserved recognition.
This year, the awards will be like no other, bringing you the pizzazz and glamour in an evening to remember. After the unprecedented year that has been 2020, Lawyers Weekly is very pleased to celebrate with you in-person. Winners will be announced at a five-star gala dinner in Sydney, marking a great opportunity to celebrate and network with industry peers, friends and family.
The event will also be live streamed for all to watch. Enjoy a black-tie evening from your boardroom, office or even your lounge room while being connected to hundreds of other viewers tuning in across Australia and the world.
Speaking about the upcoming awards, Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy said: “Our annual celebration of the in-house market is the biggest and best in the country, and it’s an honour for us to recognise the extraordinary work undertaken by law departments and market-leading legal counsel.
“This is especially so in the wake of what has likely been the most extraordinary year in the lives of most if not all Australian legal professionals in-house. With this year’s awards program set to judge and reward work undertaken in the age of coronavirus, all nominees – whether they win or not – can be proud of their efforts this past year.”
This year’s Corporate Counsel Awards will be held on Thursday, 17 June 2021 at The Star in Sydney. Earlybird ticket prices are currently available.
