Western Australian firm Jackson McDonald has strengthened its insurance team with three new appointments.
Sean Mullins joins the insurance team in the position of insurance counsel. With extensive experience in all professional indemnity insurance, Mullins is also knowledgeable in marine, property and construction, directors and officers, business interruption and machinery breakdown insurance. He comes to the firm from Mullins Handcock, of which he was one of the founding partners.
Joining the insurance division as partner is Stefan Sudweeks. He has over 15 years’ experience as a commercial litigator, specialising in professional indemnity, other insurance related litigation and insolvency. Sudweeks has also come to Jackson McDonald from Mullins Handcock, where he was a partner at the firm.
Robert Corboy, as the third new member of the team, has joined as a solicitor. He specialises in professional indemnity and insurance litigation, with wider experience in mining, construction, port facilities and commercial litigation.
Jackson McDonald has 9 partners and 25 staff practising in insurance, making the insurance team one of the largest in Western Australia. The firm is also one of Perth’s largest law firms, with 24 partners and a total staff of 170.
