FCW Lawyers has merged with Sydney-based Jackson & Associates, with principal lawyer Peter Jackson and associate Costin Stan joining the FCW Lawyers Sydney office.

This news follows the successful merger with business law firm Bayston Group earlier this year — a move which both firms said will benefit clients on both sides, as well as a merger with commercial litigation firm Harrick Lawyers, which officially came into effect in January.

Mr Jackson has over four decades of experience advising on a broad range of legal matters and disputes, including several noteworthy High Court cases. His focus at FCW Lawyers will be on mentoring emerging leaders in the wider dispute resolution team and on new business development.

FCW Lawyers chief executive Robert Patterson said that Mr Jackson is “an industry luminary, bringing a wealth of experience to the firm with him”.

“We have had great success building a diverse team at FCW Lawyers, offering different perspectives to learn from. I know that Peter’s insights will provide huge growth opportunities for our wider team,” he said.

Commenting on joining FCW Lawyers, Mr Jackson added: “Joining FCW Lawyers will expand the service and support that Costin and I can deliver to our clients. At the same time, it will allow me to enjoy the opportunity to directly impact the development of the wider dispute team and impart my years of experience onto this new generation of lawyers.”
