FCW Lawyers has elevated Natalie Rossi (pictured) to senior associate in its dispute resolution and insolvency team, Lachlan Scott (also pictured) to associate in its corporate and commercial team, and Ishita Rao – who recently completed the practical legal training (PLT) and is soon to be admitted – to graduate in its dispute resolution and insolvency team.

Elsewhere, the firm has brought on Laura Pavia, Flora Alasaly, and Tom Daly as pre-PLT graduates.

The news follows the firm’s hire of a dispute resolution and insolvency principal last May, its addition of boutique practice Ledlin Lawyers in July, and its appointment of a senior legal counsel as a new principal in November.

FCW managing principal Andrew Douglas – who earlier this year appeared on an episode of The Lawyers Weekly Show to discuss what’s not working with wellness in law – said that the firm is “so proud” to promote from within.

“Our next generation is the best combination of smart, determined, and great collaborators who continue to amaze me with their developing skills,” he declared.

“Natalie is a key member of our dispute team. Clients and colleagues alike have recognised Natalie for [her] ability to get to the heart of complex legal problems, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.”

“Lachlan is thriving in our corporate and commercial team, demonstrating his skills in handling intricate legal matters, negotiating complex transactions, and providing practical solutions to clients’ legal problems,” he went on.

“These promotions and our newest graduates are part of the firm’s commitment to supporting our employees’ career progression. We take pride in fostering a culture where individuals can grow and thrive professionally, with our entire firm supporting their professional development and contributing to their success.”
