Ashurst takes tax partner from EY

Ashurst has recruited former Ernst & Young partner Craig Saunders as a partner in its Melbourne-based tax practice.

"Craig is a very experienced tax practitioner with extensive and widely recognised skills in M&A and international tax matters,” said Ashurst managing partner John Carrington.

Saunders also has industry knowledge around the issues facing investors in infrastructure and private equity, and has built strong relationships with key investment banks and private equity houses, predominantly working with them in M&A and refinancing transactions.
