The annual event presents an invaluable opportunity to highlight the notable achievements of lawyers at the height of their career who demonstrate leadership, technical expertise, mentorship and business development skills. The awards program bestows some of the industry’s most respected and sought-after accolades showcasing outstanding performance by partners, or partners equivalent, across individual practice areas within the Australian legal profession.
Speaking ahead of the awards, Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy said that the brand is thrilled to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of partners and partners equivalent following such a challenging year.
“The age of coronavirus gave rise to extraordinary burdens for senior lawyers to not only keep their practices above water but also manage new environmental conditions for their respective teams. All such leaders in the profession deserve our respect and admiration for navigating through such choppy waters,” he said.
“We congratulate all the finalists on their remarkable efforts over the past 12 months, and wish them the very best of luck for this year’s awards.”
