Ellen Thomas comes to Allens from PwC, where she was a partner and head of the PwC tax deals team. She has also been a partner at BigLaw firms Norton Rose Fulbright and Baker McKenzie.

Over her 20-year career, Ms Thomas has advised on a range of domestic and international M&A transactions, corporate restructures, post-acquisition integrations, international tax planning, distressed debt transactions, infrastructure investments and financial arrangements.

According to partner and tax practice lead Martin Fry, the new appointment will support the firm’s growth strategy and is an important step in growing the tax practice.

“We are pleased to welcome Ellen to Allens. She is a trusted M&A tax adviser who has a strong reputation as a highly-skilled tax expert,” he said.
