National law firm Lander & Rogers has appointed an infrastructure and construction lawyer and former general counsel as a partner in its real estate and projects team.
Jennifer Tyler (pictured) has joined Lander & Rogers as a partner in its real estate and projects practice in Sydney, bringing over 25 years of experience across in-house legal functions and private practice.
She specialises, the firm said, in the procurement and delivery of major projects. She has advised on some of the most significant social and economic infrastructure, large-scale housing, industrial, and commercial projects delivered across NSW in recent years, including various Sydney Metro packages, the Powerhouse Museum upgrade, and the transformation of heritage-listed City Tattersalls Club into Sydney House.
Prior to joining the firm, Tyler was general counsel at Richard Crookes Construction, head of legal at Capella Capital, and deputy head of legal, engineering, at Lendlease.
The news follows the BigLaw firm’s promotion of 35 lawyers (including 10 to partner) in May, its nabbing of a partner from Corrs Chambers Westgarth in the same month, and its poaching of a team from Johnson Winter Slattery in June.
