This news follows a merger of its NSW practice with Sydney-based commercial litigation firm Le Page Lawyers in October 2021, which bolstered the BAGL team to almost 30 staff. This came after the boutique’s expansion to Melbourne in June 2021, wherein Tim Graham, who was a partner at BigLaw firm HWL Ebsworth for nearly 11 years, moved to Bugden Allen Lawyers with his team.

Each of these mergers enabled the firm to continue its growth across the country — and to become one of Australia’s largest specialist strata and property law firms.

Chief executive David Bugden said the most recent merger with Stratum Legal creates a further expansion opportunity into body corporate legal work on the Sunshine Coast and throughout Queensland.

Mr Kleinschmidt joins as a partner of the Queensland practice of Bugden Allen Graham Lawyers, along with his team of five lawyers and support staff.

With their depth of experience and expertise, including in the southern states and, most recently, Western Australia, I knew that my team would both complement the firm as a whole and the existing BAGL team in Queensland,” he said.
