Brisbane-founded law firm AJ & Co has opened an office in Melbourne, which the firm said marks a significant milestone in its national growth strategy.
AJ & Co, which was founded in Brisbane in 2016, has launched an office in Melbourne, which the boutique firm said reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering bold, strategic legal advice to clients across Australia.
The new office, the firm said in a statement, “represents more than a new location – it signals a new chapter in the firm’s evolution”.
Speaking about the expansion, the firm’s founder and managing partner, Andrew Johnson, said: “Our move into Melbourne is a strategic step forward for the firm.
“We’ve always been focused on long-term partnerships, built through deep understanding and fierce execution. This office gives us the platform to continue doing exactly that – in one of the most dynamic commercial hubs in the country.”
The office is already operational, A& J Co said, with a full team in place.
The news follows several boutique practices expanding their presence across the country in recent months.
In June, arbitration practice Peter & Kim launched in Perth; Aitken Partners expanded into Brisbane a few weeks before; and Sajen Legal also opened a new office in Brisbane last November.
