In a time of rapid transformation across the legal sector, the Attorney-General’s keynote will reflect on the evolving responsibilities of Australia’s legal institutions, including the key priorities for an effective, trusted, and future-ready legal system.

The Attorney-General joins leaders across BigLaw, corporate counsel, and boutique and bar for a day of strategic learning, networking, and leadership. The Honourable Justice Mordy Bromberg, president of the Australian Law Reform Commission, will also deliver a keynote address during the event.

The Honourable Michelle Rowland served as Minister for Communications in the 47th Parliament before her appointment as Attorney-General in the 48th Parliament.

Speaking on her appointment in 2025, she said in her bio: “It says everything that is great about Australia that a girl from Western Sydney can study hard, work hard, and become the First Law Officer of the land.”

The first-ever Australian Law Forum unites legal professionals to engage, inspire, and transform the legal profession.

The agenda will analyse the most urgent changes reshaping the legal sector today, including how firms and practitioners can navigate regulatory upheaval, wrestle with the complexities of AI, and adapt to evolving client expectations.
