The needs of businesses and organisations are evolving in the ongoing age of coronavirus, and therefore the demands of their law departments are shifting in tandem. In the face of such change, it is incumbent upon corporate counsel to deduce what constitutes best practice and what practical steps they can and should take in order to succeed.
Speaking about the year that was on The Corporate Counsel Show, host Jerome Doraisamy, who is the deputy editor of Lawyers Weekly, said that it has been thrilling to host so many extraordinary guests in 2021.
“The episodes published this year offered a diversity of expertise across the in-house market, both reflecting on the challenging and turbulent market in which legal counsel are operating but also showcasing practical guidance for those looking to succeed in this new normal,” he said.
“We are hugely excited for what 2022 will bring for the show, and we look forward to playing our part in offering in-house professionals the vocational insights they need in order to better support their businesses and advance their careers.”
