National law firm HopgoodGanim has named five new partners, eight new special counsel, eight new senior associates and six new associates, effective today (1 July 2022).

The elevation of five professionals to partner at HopgoodGanim sees the firm’s partnership ranks swell to 45 across its offices.

The new partners are Justin Raiteri, Jon Erbacher, Kathleen Coggin, Sasha Sarai and Fraser Bax.

 
 

The firm’s newest special counsel are Alison McKee, Olivia Williamson, Robyn Lamb, Jacqi Marshall, Steven Hunwicks, Tim Edwards, Gemma Chadwick and Luke Dawson.

The new senior associates are Damon Hatchett, Sarah Judge, Tess Lehn, Rina Biswas, Sally Crane, Grace Mullins, Hannah Fas, and Christina Hooper.

And the new associates are Will Findlay, Isabella Anderson, Dominic Humphrys, Jacinta Café, Emily Ownsworth and James Lord.

Speaking about the promotions, HopgoodGanim managing partner Bruce Humphrys said: “All of our people have worked incredibly hard over the last 12 months in challenging circumstances.

“I’m so pleased to be able to reward and recognise the efforts of this group of talented individuals who have managed to reach their next important career milestone, particularly our new partners.”

This news follows a number of BigLaw promotional rounds, including MinterEllison promoting 113 professionals, Herbert Smith Freehills naming 56 new senior associates, Allens promoting 79, KWM promoting 90, Thomson Geer elevating 31, twenty new appointments at Barry.Nilsson., a “record” number of promotions at global law firm Dentons, 46 new appointments with four partner appointments at Holding Redlich, the promotion of 46 at Hall & Wilcox, the elevation of 48 staff at Mills Oakley, the promotion of 21 at Piper Alderman and the addition of 13 new partners at King & Wood Mallesons.
